You don’t want to get stuck with a property that won’t allow you to do what your wanting to do. Always check that the land your buying notes the possible uses and keep an eye out for any restrictions that might be described as well.
Know the Wildlife
Depending on what you’re wanting to use the land for, you’ll want to consider the terrain, soil, elevation, wildlife, and vegetation.
When you are looking to buy land, you really need to do your research and find out if the property is currently under an agricultural land valuation or what is often referred to as a tax exemption. I know that sounds like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised how often the required research is overlooked.
