2. Purchasing Process

  1. Find Your Land: Begin by exploring the available land listings on the LandFix platform. If you have specific criteria in mind, you can also contact LandFix, and they’ll notify you when a suitable piece of land becomes available.

  2. Select & Sign:

    • Choose the Land: Once you’ve identified the land you wish to purchase, proceed to the next step.
    • Review Payment Options: LandFix provides transparent payment details, including down payment amounts, interest rates, and monthly payments. You can choose to pay in full or opt for a financing plan.
    • Online Agreement: Answer a few preliminary questions and make the necessary payments (either the deposit & first month’s payment for financing or the full cost if buying outright). After this, you can review and digitally sign the covenants right on the platform.
  3. Answer LandFix’s Call:

    • Immediate Land Access: After your purchase, you can start using your land right away.
    • Finalization: The LandFix team will reach out to you to finalize the purchase. This includes guiding you through the process of accessing your online account portal and, if you’ve chosen financing, setting up your payment plan.
    • Expert Support: Throughout this process, LandFix’s team of experts is available to answer any questions and assist you, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Absolutely! LandFix encourages potential buyers to visit and inspect the land in person before making any decisions. We believe in the importance of experiencing the land firsthand to ensure it meets your expectations. However, we strongly advise all our customers to conduct thorough due diligence on any property they are interested in purchasing from our website. It’s essential to be fully informed and satisfied with your choice, as once a down payment is made, there are no refunds. We prioritize transparency and want our customers to make confident and well-informed decisions.

The timeline for using the land post-purchase depends on the nature of the transaction. If you’ve opted for a financing deal and have successfully set up your payments and completed all necessary documentation, you can start using the land as early as the next day. However, if the lot is paid for in full upfront, you’ll typically need to wait until the closing process is completed before you can utilize the land. This ensures all legal formalities are addressed, and the land’s ownership is securely transferred to you.

3. Financing

LandFix offers a variety of preset financing packages tailored to cater to diverse financial needs. Customers can choose from plans starting with as little as $199 down on select parcels, up to plans that require a 20% down payment. The interest rates for our financing plans vary based on the down payment. 

As our property is for sale by the owner, we have designed our financing process to be as streamlined and painless as possible for the customer. Currently, we do not require credit checks for our financing plans. Our primary goal is to make land ownership accessible and hassle-free for everyone, regardless of their credit history.

At LandFix, we believe in providing flexibility and freedom to our customers. As such, there are no prepayment penalties associated with our financing plans. If you choose to make additional payments, rest assured that they will be applied directly to the principal balance remaining, allowing you to reduce your loan amount more quickly and efficiently.

4. Documentation

At LandFix, we prioritize convenience without compromising on security. Our online documentation process offers customers the same contracts and files they would receive in person. However, instead of traditional paper documents, customers receive secure digital versions issued directly from our website. These digital documents are (UETA) & (ESIGN) compliant & adheres to the strictest document signing policy’s in the US & European unions. This streamlined process allows for a seamless and trustworthy experience, making land ownership even more accessible.

Yes! We have been careful in our integrations to ensure that every signed contract and purchase agreement are legally binding with the U.S. E-SIGN Act, UETA, GDPR, and other laws in many countries. This ensures that LandFix, as the seller, and you, as the customer are protected in your purchase just the same as if you had signed the documents in person. We take security and legal compliance very seriously to ensure safe, smooth transactions.

The timeline for receiving the final paperwork varies based on the nature of the transaction:

  • Financing: If you’ve opted for one of our financing plans, the average time to receive your final paperwork is typically between 3-5 business days. This allows us to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Closing: If you’re closing on a property, the timeline is contingent upon the title company’s processing schedule. On average, it can take as few as 2-3 weeks to finalize all documentation. However, please note that if the title company is experiencing a high volume of transactions or other delays, it might extend the processing time. We recommend staying in touch with the title company for the most up-to-date information on your paperwork’s status.
